How to Sell Gold in Las Vegas: What to Bring and How You Get Paid
Broken chains, single earrings, rings that no longer fit, jewelry you inherited and never wear: most of us have a drawer like this. If you are ready to turn it into money or something new, here is how selling to Huntington Jewelers works.
What to bring
- Your jewelry. Bring everything, even pieces you think are worthless. Broken and tangled pieces are fine.
- A valid government-issued photo ID. Nevada law requires ID to sell jewelry and precious metals, so we can't complete a purchase without it.
- Any paperwork you have. Diamond grading reports, appraisals or receipts can help, but they are not required.
How you get paid
We pay on the spot, by company check or as store credit. Store credit is a popular choice for customers who want to trade old pieces toward something new from our showroom.
Selling vs. redesigning
Before you sell, consider whether a piece could be reworked. A dated ring can often become a new design using your own diamonds or gold. Our custom design team can talk through options in the same visit.
