An elite organization of jewelers committed to uphold the highest standards of ethics, knowledge and consumer protection The highest certification obtainable with the American Gem Society. Requires yearly re-certification.

Master Gemologist Appraiser American Society of Appraisers (ASA)

An ASA designation requiring re-certification examinations and continuing gemological and appraisal education including USPAP. The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) is an international valuation organization that teaches, tests, accredits and refers professional appraisers.

Gemological Institute of America - a world-renown education center

Certified Gemological Laboratory

Requires extensive gemological equipment and library with graded master diamond

Professional appraisals from Huntington Jewelers include evaluation of items listed below, plus additional examination of colored stones and mountings.

Diamonds

Graded: while mounted or unmounted

Clarity: including the rating system used

Measurements: indicating width and depth in millimeters

Enhancements: stating type such as irradiated, laser drilled, fracture filled, etc.

Color:including rating system used and noting flourescence and enhancements

Cut: includes any information that affects value such as dimensions, inter-relationships betwen table size, crown height and pavilion depth percentages, overall symmetry, visibility of bowtie, and elongation

Carat weight: whether provided or estimated by formula

Damage: plotting of chips

Appraisal Report
